Your dog is a member of the family. Of course you want to take them on a trip. There’s an accommodation in Kyoto where you can bring your dog to fulfill your wish.
I’ll introduce you to hotels that are good for dog lovers, such as ones with a lawn garden where dogs can play happily, and ones with a lot of dog amenities.ヾ(^▽^*)))
After sightseeing in Kyoto, why don’t you make a good memory with your dog at the inn?
Contents
Seikoro Ryokan
This is a popular inn which is 3 minutes walk from Kiyomizu-gojo station of Keihan Main Line. It’s very convenient for sightseeing as it’s close to Gion and Kiyomizudera which are the most popular in Kyoto.
You can stay with a small dog (Up to about 7kg). The inn has continued since 1831, so you can enjoy the traditional Japanese atmosphere.

Nishijinkita Hagi
It’s a very Kyoto-like Machiya (traditional inn) in a quiet space. You can bring a dog with you, which is rare in Machiya in Kyoto. The large entrance has a large cage, a washing area for dogs, and a small bath and dog terrace for your beloved dog.
This place is recommended for sightseeing in the Kinkakuji area.

Pension K-yard
The main feature of this inn is the natural lawn with a sense of openness. You can let your dog play as much as they want.
If you leave your dog at an inn, it’s 2,000 yen for half a day (Up to 4 hours) and 4,000 yen for 1 day (Up to 8 hours). It’s a convenient service when you can’t take your dog with you for sightseeing in Kyoto because it’s limited to the guests.
There’s no hot spring in the inn itself, but there’s a hot spring facility called Tenzan-no-yu 3 minutes away from the inn and I recommend it!

▼Dog amenities: Foot wipe towel, deodorant goods, etiquette bag, adhesive roller tape, and rental circle
Guesthouse Kasuian
You can rent a whole house here. The capacity is up to 5 people, so if you stay with your family or friends, the accommodation fee for 1 person will be a bargain.
It costs 2,000 yen for a small dog and 3,000 yen for a medium-sized dog. The interior, which was renovated in August 2016, has both Japanese-style and Western-style rooms, so you can spend a comfortable time. You can also use free Wi-Fi.

SEN Shichijo Heian
This is a rental villa for up to 6 people. You can experience the life of Kyoto by simulation. The interior has a gentle color, and you can feel the Japanese atmosphere with the Irori fireplace and the small tatami mats.
You can stay with a small dog (10 kg or less). There’re a lot of dog amenities such as dog mattresses and dog baths, so it’s an easy place to stay with your dog.
There’re pet hotels and pet supply stores a minute walk from the villa.
